Workplace Services > About MEAS > KEY STAFF

Our staff encompass many professional roles to comprise the EAP team.

Our EAP counselors must hold a masters/doctorate degree in a helping profession and have at least three years of experience in the evaluation and treatment of marital/family problems, emotional disorders, and addictions. These licensed and certified counselors are responsible for the provision of "in-person" assessment/counseling services for our EAP clients.

MEAS's EAP intake/triage counselors, provide 24-hour telephone intake and intervention as they receive incoming calls through our toll-free number. Staff qualifications for phone/intake counseling require a bachelors degree in a helping profession, a customer friendly attitude, and the ability to handle urgent situations.

Our care managers systematically monitor referrals made beyond the EAP to a covered provider or community resource for specialized care. These care managers also offer supervisory consultations regarding the referral of troubled or impaired employees. Care managers are licensed/certified masters level counselors or are licensed as Registered Nurses with training in psychiatric nursing.

MEAS's EAP consultants are senior staff who provide a variety of training and workplace assistance services which are covered "under the umbrella" of our comprehensive EAP. These services include supervisory referral training, critical incident management, organization consultation, and workshops.

An account management team will ensure a smooth introduction of your EAP and will oversee the implementation of our agreement. Our team will also provide on-going support and will serve as a central point of access for issues surrounding communications, problem solving, and reporting.

Our provider relations representative ensures that our affiliate EAP contractors are qualified and capable of providing assessment/counseling services that reflect our standards as the primary contractor of EAP services.

MEAS's data system administrator oversees our computerized EAP information system which documents our program activities and provides immediate access to case related information.

All of these professional roles are at the service of our client companies, their employees, and their family members.
